 Today, I am going to share some Important Tips about the "𝐇𝐓𝐓𝐏 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫", as one of the most popular and key Health-check Objects in F5 𝐁𝐈𝐆-𝐈𝐏 𝐋𝐓𝐌 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞.


⊛ The "𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" field checks the HTTP Response for both "𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫" + "𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲"; Despite of the "𝐇𝐓𝐓𝐏 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞"!

⊛ You can use "𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧" to have More Granular Filter in "𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" field

⊛ If the "𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" contains Nothing - i.e. "𝐍𝐔𝐋𝐋 (𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐘)" - It means that the Pool Member marks as "𝐔𝐏 (𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄)", once 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 is Received (e.g. 404, 200, 500, etc.)

⊛ Please Define your "𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭/𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" to increase the precise of your HTTP Monitors... 

⊛ If both the "𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" and "𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" fields Match, the "𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" wins the game and the Member is marked as "𝐔𝐏 (𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄)" by TMOS

⊛ If JUST the "𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" matches, the involved Server Continues to process the latest 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝/𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and also 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬; But, 𝑵𝑶 𝑵𝑬𝑾 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒅

⊛ If NONE of them Matches, the Member is marked as "𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 (𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞)" by TMOS
